1. Notify an officer of the R. W. Meyer, Limited Board
2. Turn in death certificate to office of R.W. Meyer
3. Put in request for location of gravesite with Cemetery Committee for approval
4. Sign contract in effect at that time agreeing to all conditions

The family of the interred will be responsible for the following:

1) Digging of the Grave

2) Marking of the Grave

3) Finalizing the gravesite

4) Landscaping maintenance or upkeep

The family of the interred will be responsible to produce or contract out the backhoe, operator and what ever is necessary to complete the digging and covering of the grave

1. All graves will need to be marked. If the grave is not marked after 3 years R.W. Meyer Ltd will pay to have it marked and the family of the interred will be billed for all services incurred in relation to this matter.
2. The size of the marker will not exceed the specifications adopted by R.W. Meyer as will be noted in burial contract. Special request regarding this matter will have to be brought before the Cemetery Committee and will be subject to their discretion.

The final curbing or enclosing/finishing of the grave will be the responsibility of the immediate family of the interred. The time limit for this will be 3 years after which time R.W. Meyer Ltd. will pay to have the finalization of the grave done and bill the family. If the family does not reimburse R.W. Meyer for any and or all expenses due to their failure to meet the R.W. Meyer Ltd. cemetery guidelines their privileges of cemetery use may be restricted for that family until such time the bill is paid in full. A deposit may also be imposed for any succeeding burial in the cemetery.

All planting of trees and shrubberies will be the exclusive right and responsibility of the R.W. Meyer Cemetery Committee. Planting of trees or shrubberies by individuals will need the approval of the committee.

The family of the interred will be responsible for the upkeep of any plants etc. put in by them and also for the maintenance of the grave.

A spouse of a Meyer may be interred at the cemetery providing he/she understands that any succeeding spouse from a previous or subsequent marriage may not be interred at the Meyer Cemetery. In short, should the surviving spouse remarry, and desire to be with his/her Meyer, this will be allowed. The secondary spouse, however not being a Meyer, cannot be buried with him/her. In addition, if a Meyer remarries, spouses may be interred at the cemetery. Should a Meyer remarry and there be children with the second spouse, the children may be buried there. Children from a spouse’s previous marriage may not be buried there unless they have been legally adopted by the Meyer.
